He also wrote that because those are famous lyrics from a song called "Going Back To Cali" by the Notorious B.I.G.

well, i have a customized radio station for which i've rated 5,201 songs at this point...and "Going Back To Cali" by the Notorious B.I.G. came on about 8 minutes after I read & replied to the message.

I mean, this constant MCS shit is absolutely unreal.

click here to visit the page for my radio station

oh yeah

also, today a huge huge wasp landed on my nose, laying its huge legs over both of my nostrils and in fact reaching from cheek to cheek, and i freaked the fuck out in shock and shook it off and immediately apologized out loud in english in a way that was communicating to the wasp that i only made that violent movement because it was instinctual reaction, i didn't even have a chance to realize what was happening to me until after it happened, because it flew up from outside my periphery SUPER fast and landed SUPER fast, and took off SUPER fast when i shook it off in less than a split second after it landed on me. i believe i reacted by quickly telling it, "i'm sorry, i didn't mean for that to happen." i didn't experience any fear whatsoever, i figured after i said that right away after shaking it, it would understand and leave me alone, just like it did. in any normal situation, it would have started stinging me, right? i mean i smacked it off my nose with a really hard shake that hit its body with my nose pretty hard, but still it was able to fly in less than a blink of time.

lol. it was a moment of simultaneity that was pretty fucking magically coincidental, and because i realized how cool it was as MCS, immediately, i was smiling about how perfect that was going to be to write down and tell friends about.

carlos mencia is performing his best episode in the world right now. wow holy shit. totally amazing that i'm ripped for it.

it starts with a hilarious 2 or 3 minute skit that satired how the 1st and 2nd amendment were written that was the best skit i've ever seen him do. then he went off forever about how vacations are for chillin, and the wife came out with this list talking like, "we're gonna do this thing, then we're gonna see this thing, then we're gonna try this thing, then we'll go do this thing...and then we'll have lunch." "NO BITCH NOOOOOO!" he screamed in his one-man reenactment of the moment. then he went on to how she tried to pull out the schedule of activities for the day after getting the EXPENSIVE room with a view in Hawaii ("come on honey, you deserve it, you work so hard"); and he said something like "Fuck no, bitch!!! Why the fuck did we get the room with the view? I'll tell you why, to enjoy the fucking view! We paid for it, so we have to fucking UUUUUSE IIIIIT!!!!!!!"

later there was a 4 minute rap video of carlos rapping AWESOMELY MEANINGFUL lyrics as a Saudi Arabian making fun of how rich he is. (Saudi Arabia owns 7% of America's entire economy - basically 7% of everything in America.)

WOW later in the show a badass lookin black dude in the nicest pimp suit came out and shot a guy being an office worker in a skit right in the fucking leg, at like 3 foot range, and the special effects looked & sounded so real and the guy was fucking screaming so hard, over and over, for so long, while grabbing his leg after being shot.

he ended the show rappin & thuggin: "welcome back/to the era of/mencia. that's what we/do/here."<br his mind for an interview with jon stewart in which jon was so upset at him being ripped for the interview, he asked owen "so at what point does this become sad?" ... he continued, "i think when you're age 60 is it's sad." blatantly referring to how ripped out of his mind owen was.

and i've never experienced such a randomly perfect matching of how ripped i was, yet still able to be responsible and, for example, be home early and follow everything, as owen wilson handled the entire interview like a champion or a king would. i hated owen wilson until tonight. that type='text'>Peace on Earth

okay so you're probably going to judge me but lately i've been getting in the habit of coming home for lunch and watching one of two tv shows that come on around that time: jon stewart's the daily show on comedy central (that's not the one i'm going to focus on right now, though) or reruns of 'home improvement' with tim allen. i watched it when i was a little kid growing up, and it reminds me of a more simple time of life. in fact, it's a more simple type of show. anyway, today's episode was a christmas episode in which 2 of the 3 sons on the tv show (brad and randy, lol) got caught stealing money from the charity they were raising going around the neighborhood cold-hard-cash for. in the end they felt so guilty after returning the money and apologizing that they donated a bunch of their toys to the impoverished kids at the shelter, and overall it was a simple but good message, kind of a relaxing episode to watch, with a very nice amount of great humor mixed in, and even some random knowledge from wilson (the neighbor behind the fence). the point of all this is that never again will we see a tv show that fades to the message "Peace on Earth" AFTER the credits finished rolling, and shows the message for a good 10 seconds. this culture/society has become more and more fucked even in the last ten years or so (however long it's been) since that tv show went off the air. things just seem to get worse every day. now we have not shows but entire TV channels whose idea/message/goal of "War on Earth" is supported and drilled into the viewer's mind aggressively, 24/7.

Peace on Earth.
pfft. I wish.

Magically Coincidental Simultaneity

so i've coined this term for a certain type of events that happen in our lives, and for me, they happen pretty much daily, if not many many times every day.

i'll give you an example of MCS that just now happened to me.

i was responding to a girl who sent me a message on myspace trying to figure out why we don't know eachother because we share a whole bunch of mutual friends. i was thinking about how just the other day i had a deja vu moment that i had absolutely positively experienced every single detail of before; weeks earlier in a dream, and so i was beginning to write about how perhaps we've met in a dream i've had which has yet to take place in reality (too cheesy?)

anyway, in the middle of writing this very particular thought, i was listening to my launch radio station, and this absolutely AMAZING song i'd never heard before came on, and so i dropped all those thoughts to find out what the hell i was listening to, so that it could be mine in the near future.

the artist was "Forest for the Trees" and the title (here's the amazing MCS part) was "Dream"

you understand magically coincidental simultaneity, now?
wouldn't that make a great book title for a collection of people's MCS moments?
it's a thought i'm pursuing slowly.

^_^

holy fucking shit

i just did the math, and America's national debt as of February 2006 would be a stack of 100 dollar bills 5,203 miles high, or a stack of 1 dollar bills 520,366 miles high. vegetarian co-op household (two female friends of mine live there) to a keg of delicious ziegen bock, tons of close friends, & a backyard swimming pool full of extremely gorgeous topless girls, who were flirting with me and giving me awesome hugs with their boobies and stuff.

need i really say more?

well, just for the record, on Friday & Saturday i worked a few seminars & was involved in a trade show @ the University of Texas over there with the educational products company I work full-time for.

and lastnight i saw Pirates of the Caribbean 2, it was amazing.

oh and i fell and split my chin open, but it only hurts a little bit when i'm eating.
puppies, surgery, rock music, and suicide

the office dog, a gigantic 7-(49)-year-old rotweiler girl named "Whisky" just had surgery on her torn ACL in her left knee this week. she's back and wearing one of those huge satellite dishes around her neck to keep her from getting at the stitches, which look more like staples and go the entire length of her leg. it looks awful. anyway, i'm so happy she won't have to limp around anymore, and i'm glad it's more of a sports injury than a getting-old injury. she always hangs out & sleeps under my desk at my feet while i work the day away. i give her rides in my van to the post office every now and then, and sometimes i'll even take her on long trips into town. i don't think there'll be much more of that happening because she sometimes slobbers a bit too much in the heat, causing me to have to do extra work to keep my van clean. anyway, just figured i'd share that.

this sunday i'll be seeing some of my favorite rock bands live, at my first ever warped tour. most exciting is Armor For Sleep, whose CD "what to do when you are dead" just absolutely pulverizes the competition. that's basically the reason i'm going, a lot of the other bands are ridiculous...however i will get a chance to see my hometown heroes AFI (who i never saw when they were kids in the same town as me, in california), also a band called From Autumn To Ashes whose only song i like is a fucking masterpiece titled "Short Stories with Tragic Endings"...and it's an old song, so i hope they are able to do it. there's a lot of symphony instruments in the song. the rest of the mentionable bands' names are Against Me!, Anti-Flag, From First To Last, Less Than Jake, Motion City Soundtrack (whose songs "A-OK" and "Everything Is Alright" and "The Future Freaks Me Out" and "My Favorite Accident" are all actually for the most part pretty a-ok songs), NOFX, Rise Against, Saves The Day, Senses Fail, The Academy Is.., The Casualties, and Thursday.

then some kid i vaguely knew named Billy (that many of my friends knew, and one of my girl friends dated for a long time) committed suicide two nights ago, and that's gay, not only because he had a lot going for him and was good looking, but also because the only people who are supposed to commit suicide are people i've never met before, so i can make the joke about how anything that gets traffic on the freeway going faster, i'm all for it. damn fools. anyway, sorry to have to share this little tidbit but it had to be said. at least i don't know how Billy did it, as opposed to that other cool guy i knew named Ron, who got cancer for the second time (after beating it once thru chemotherapy before) and decided to hang himself about a year ago, but kinda screwed it up and hung there for 16 hours, then died in the hospital sometime not long thereafter. yeah, wow. people will always be people, i guess.
rug doctor

...and no, i am not referring to anyone's muff.

i just figured i would share the fact that this week i rented a rug doctor and cleaned most of the carpet in my house, and only spent about 20 bucks on the machine, and another 25 on the cleaning solutions. i gotta tell you, that thing really does a fantastic job, and i still have a bunch of cleaning solution left over so whenever i decide to rent it again, i'll only have to spend like 18 bucks on renting the machine cuz i have enough cleaner to last at least another round. and the thing about the rug doctor is it's actually fun to use, because you can only do like 4 or 5 minutes of cleaning at a time, so you don't get bored with it. it took out some of the most awful carpet stains you can imagine... wine, ketchup, mixed drinks w/cola, grease, etc. just be sure you treat the carpet's worst stains overnight with rug doctor special cleaners & a brush of some kind before you actually rent a rug doctor to use on them. i actually feel like a classy, responsible human being again! (that's paraphrasing)

...i wish more people with access to mass media would stand up and say this, as it blatantly & obviously illustrates the government & military's secretive involvement in what happened to this country back in 2001.

later, he talked about Anna Nicole Smith and her recently becoming a widow and having to fight her 89-year-old husband's son for inheritance at the U.S. Supreme Court. about this, three great things were said:
- The Republicans are repealing the Estate Tax (a.k.a. the Death Tax). I don't understand the Republicans on this. They claim to be for low taxes, but they tax people so much during times in life when they really badly need the money! If they're all about low taxes, shouldn't they be fighting to tax people at times when they DON'T need the money? And then, isn't the Estate Tax is the best time to tax people? You know, because of the fact they don't need the money... due to the fact that they're dead?
- The Republicans, who are all about hard-working, should support Anna here 100%. That guy's son is fighting her for his money in the Supreme Court, but he just sat around and waited for him to die, while she worked HARD for it. She took initiative. It's like Fear Factor, if you look like Anna, and you can have sex with an 89 year old man without vomiting, you deserve the prize money. Every night she slaved away on that man's tiny shriveled penis until little spurts of air came out...
- If you're a rich elderly oil tycoon, there's only two ways you wanna go out in life, getting blown by Anna Nicole Smith, or getting shot in the face by Dick Cheney.

also mentionable is the fact that D.L. Hughley (comedian) was a guest of the show, and at one point said "If i hear one more motherfucking time about how George W. Bush is a man of faith, i'm going to have to kill myself." Cheers, D.L.

all this stuff i've written is paraphrased, as my memory to these things isn't quite word-for-word.

the academy awards

ladies and gentlemen, it's hard out here for a pimp

...

...by three 6 mafia just won BEST SONG at the oscars, right after performing it onstage, with an uncensored & extensively repeated chorus that included the line "it's hard out here for a pimp, whole lotta bitches talkin shit."

that was such a deliciously delightful metaphoric slap in the face to all families who practice overly anal-retentive religious lifestyles that it made me laugh very very loudly, just bursting at the seams with happiness. i could practically feel the laughter rumbling with me in all of you similar minds watching across the country & the world.
